Most often, you should expect severe discounting relative to buying new (exceeding 40%). While we try to keep as much material out of the waste stream as possible, we can’t save everything. We only stock furniture in conditions 7 and above on a scale of 10. Since everything’s in stock, you don’t deal with lead times. Our local installation team can render service as soon as you confirm a date.

Cheap furniture bought new is constructed of particle board, which is held together with formaldehyde (among other harmful compounds). Pre-owned furniture has either been constructed of materials that don’t off-gas, or has had time to off-gas.
